Forget about that equine-themed football team to the north, these were the creation of Mackenzie Colt, whose name, and the fact that she opened shows for Buck Owens and his Buckaroos, are the only connection to wild horses. Greater fame came when she replaced Barbie Benton on Hee Haw, and her bolts soon followed in 1984."
